| Welcome to Summer Sessions at Ohio University! During two five-week summer sessions, Ohio University offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate courses on the Athens campus, the five regional campuses, and the Pickerington Center, outside of Columbus. In addition, the university offers more than 100 summer-only special program and unique course opportunities-all chosen to meet students' needs as well as Ohio University's high standards. |
| Summer Sessions @ Ohio University means: - A chance to save money. Register for one or both sessions combined and pay the same tuition and fees that were in effect spring quarter. Attending summer sessions may mean that you could graduate in less than four years AND save money in the mean time.
- Smaller classes. Most summer classes are smaller, encouraging close interaction among students and professors, creating a more relaxed atmosphere that promotes both learning and enjoyment.Distinguished Ohio University faculty members. More than 80% of the summer faculty are full-time Ohio University faculty.An extra quarter of classes. During the summer, students often find it easier to register for certain classes that are typically hard to get into. If you are looking for the chance to retake a class to improve a grade, take a class just for fun, start a second minor or area of specialization, or study abroad, summer is the quarter for you.A variety of convenient formats. Choose from a wide variety of online, evening, weekend, and one-two-or three week specialized-topic courses in communications, the arts, business, education, and the sciences.A friendly, diverse, and active student community.
