Kyongwook Choi, choi@ohio.edu, Ph.D. Economics, University of Washington.
Dr. Choi is an Assistant Professor of Economics. He was educated at Korea University, Seoul, Korea, where he received his Bachelors and
Master of Arts degrees in Economics. He worked for the Bank of Korea, the Central Bank of South Korea. He also received an M.A. in Economics from the University of Iowa in 1998. In 2002, Dr. Choi received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Washington in Seattle.
FIELDS OF SPECIALIZATION: macroeconomics, financial economics and econometrics.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: He
is currently engaged in research studying monetary policy and their impact on the U.S. economy. In addition, he is interested in conducting research in financial economics including market return and volatility issues.
