Athletic Involvement:
Coach Jr. High Basketball and JV Volleyball for the past 3 years

High School:
4 years in track and field, basketball, and volleyball

College:
Ran track freshman year

Work Experience:
I have worked at a copper foil plant for 5 summers, worked at Hallmark for 3 years, a bar in my hometown for 2 years, and JC Penney’s for 3 years.

High School Involvement:
Student Council, VP of RAID (Raiders against intoxicating drugs)

What do you like most about Ohio University Army ROTC?:
It’s a strong program that tries to set everyone up for success and has high standards.

What do you plan to do in the Army?:
I plan to stay in my National Guard Air Defense Artillery Unit and become one of the first female platoon leaders in our unit.

What else are you involved in other than Army ROTC?:
In my unit I have helped out with a Juvenile Boot camp during the summer and I am the Officer In Charge of our Tiger Recruiting Team.

What have you learned in Army ROTC?: (That you couldn’t have learned in other courses)
To become a more proficient leader and self-confidence.

What opportunities (training) has ROTC provided you?
It has helped me gain personal courage, such as my fear of heights, by rapelling and completing the slide for life.
