1.
What do you plan on doing in the Army?
Active duty Engineer Corps
2.
What else are you involved in other than Army ROTC?
I
drill with a medical unit in the Ohio Army National
Guard, I am a Resident Assistant and I am a Learning
Community Peer Mentor. My senior year I was a member
of the Ohio University Council of Student Leaders.
3.
What have you learned in Army ROTC (that you
couldn’t have learned in other courses)?
I have learned and had the opportunity to practice
fast-paced decision making under stressful
situations. I have also developed my abilities to
focus on a goal and streamline my thought processes
to new levels of efficiency.
4.
What opportunities (training) has ROTC provided you?
I have completed the Leader’s Training Course;
Leadership Development and Assessment Course;
Airborne School; Air Assault School. Also, my job as
the S-3 (operations/training officer) has so far
been the highlight of my college career and perhaps
the most valuable training for any career that I
have yet been exposed to.
5.
What do you like most about Ohio University Army
ROTC?
The perennial dominance our program exerts over our
neighboring schools in terms of quality and
performance evaluations. I enjoy working and
training with arguably the best program in the area,
and being surrounded by the best has only made me
better.
