    September 2008 Update:

8.5" x 11" Black & White Printing only in AAC Lab

Ohio University students and faculty/staff can print 8.5" x 11" to our black & white networked printer accoring to the fee structure established throughout Alden Library. Currently, it is 3 cents per page.

If you duplex print a page (print on both sides of the paper), you get those two prints for only 5 cents.

Color printing is no longer available in the AAC Computer Learning Lab except to students enrolled in the College Adjustment Program (CAP).

D.Lee Beard is Leaving AAC Computer Learning Lab

At the end of September, D.Lee Beard is leaving the AAC Computer Learning Lab to accept the responsibilities of Asst. Director of Media Services in the Center for Instructional Technology at James Madison University.

Reuben Dlamini will be serving as the interim AAC Computer Learning Lab Manager.

    February 2008 Update:

Kingston 19-in-1 Media Card Readers Now Available

kingstonThe AAC Computer Learning Lab has purchased two new Kingston 19-in-1 media card readers which are now available for checkout use in our lab.

This will speed up transfers of your data and not require you to bring in your digital camera when transferring photos.

Kingston's 19-in-1 card reader supports a wide variety of cards including CompactFlash Type I and II, SD, SDHC, miniSD, miniSDHC, microSD, microSDHC, MMC, MMCmobile (DV RS-MMC), MMCplus, MMCmicro, RS-MMC, Microdrive, Memory Stick Micro (M2), Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo as well as Memory Stick PRO Duo. You won't need a separate adapter to fit your microSD cards into before docking—fantastic, since lots of phones now use these tiny cards in order to save physical space (but sacrifice storage space).

We hope you find this resource valuable.
