JSA supports Japanese at Ohio University, and provide the oportunities to get involved to people living in Athens, Ohio. We believe that we can foster global understanding through cultural exchange.
As the biggest activity, Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Festival creats huge oppotunity to know about Japanese culture, including Japanese food, traditional dance, and play. Are you learning Japanese? Members of JSA support the students studying Japanese in Japanese Hour in Linguistics department. And more, we have tons of activities in Ohio University, such as BBQ, Ohanami (a party under Cherry Blossom), etc.....! Through these activities, we introduce and exchange our culture.Let's have a fun together!
